Top Drawer was started in 1989 by Brian Emerson, owner of a small cabinet shop. When Brian wasn't able to find the quality and quantity of drawers he needed quickly for a job he had undertaken he realized there was a need cabinetmakers have that wasn't being met. With a lot of research and sweat Top Drawer was born. Brian selected dovetail drawers because of the superior interlocking joint. Dovetail joints have been used by quality craftsmen for ages.
